The Illulian Group was looking to expand its investment portfolio and restauranteur duo Kia and Kate wanted to create a premiere Los Angeles dining destination around the classic experience of dining out on a date. Foxhall Steakhouse has quickly become the #1 travel and dining destination for a romantic getaway in under a year.

THE CHALLENGE

FOXHALL WANTED A GRAND OPENING

Foxhall Steakhouse contacted The Seidel Agency seeking to build buzz and book their RSVP list solid for both their soft and grand opening and beyond. To do that, we leveraged a press release, exclusive high-profile influencer and celebrity guest lists, as well as top-tier media around Los Angeles and the surrounding industry.

THE ACTIVATION

A VINTAGE EXPERIENCE WORTH EVERY PENNY

Targeting the right platforms with the right messaging: We started by targeting the biggest names on Instagram. We invited them to dine and nonchalantly share their amazing meals with their highly engaged and passionate following during the soft opening. This helped build the buzz, before the big opening to fully stack the steakhouse.

Creating an immersive in-person experience: Leveraging 5-star chefs, a one-of-a-kind steak, the date steak, as well as mouthwatering cocktails, and a classy interior, Foxhall built an experience unlike anything in the world. Each editorial, interview, and exclusive meal our press received came with white glove service and a key lime pie to top it all off. 

Leveraging emerging trends and past positioning: Given the Illulian Group had already launched several other businesses such as H2Rose, Carrerra Cafe, HRB Experience, and more, they brought a strong reputation to each media interview. We also built a wonderful drink
